Documents required for postgraduate course at the Vladimir State University

1. Organization referral of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

2. Employee registration card (notarized at work).

3. Application for exams admission with the initials of the head and the dean of a chosen department).

4.The notarized photocopies of Higher Education Certificate and its application.

5. The list of inventions, published works and research work report (if an applicant has any) or a report (15-20 pages)

6. Passport and Higher Education Certificate are given personally by an applicant.

7. An applicant is interviewed by a prospective scientific supervisor, who informs in written form General Accounting Office about his/her decision of academic advising. In the conclusion by a scientific supervisor applicant's gains such as participating in research work, patents for inventions, published works, grants, president scholarship, participating in scientific conferences, competitions, marks for qualifying exams for admission to postgraduate study, % of done work in a thesis).

Additional documents:

- A properly notarized translation into Russian of a foreign citizen ID in the Russian Federation (national passport).

- Photocopy of a visa that shows that a foreign citizen has come to Russia with an entrance visa.

- Original and a notarized translation of a Medical certificate verified by the official Health Authority of Sending Nation, confirming that an applicant hasn’t got socially dangerous diseases and contra-indications for study and living in climate conditions of the Russian Federation

- The AIDS test result confirming that you haven’t got AIDS, valid on the territory of Russian Federation and verified by the Health Authority of Sending nation.

- 10 black and white or color 3x4 flat printed photographs.

All the translations should be done by Russian Notary Officers or consular services of the Russian Federation according to the First name and last name on the entrance visa.

International students who have Higher Education Certificates are accepted to the postgraduate course according to the international and inter-government agreements of the Russian Federation and individual agreements, concluded by the University with individual or ficticious persons. Foreign citizens with foreign Higher Education Certificates besides the certificate (academic document) require equivalent to the academic documents of the Russian Federation.
